For this feature of WhatsApp, you first need to have a Facebook account. Also users should have the latest version of Facebook Messenger application and Facebook login. This feature is the same for Android, iPhone and desktop. The latest Android version of WhatsApp needs to be in place to create or connect a room.

First open WhatsApp, then go to the Call tab. If you open the Call tab you will see the Create a Room option in it, click on it then click on the Continue option. You will now be redirected to the Messenger app or Messenger website via a mobile browser, as the room feature works outside of WhatsApp.

Now tap on Try It. After clicking Try It, tap Create Rooms and enter the room name. Finally click on Send Link on WhatsApp. This will reopen WhatsApp. Once it opens, find and add the ones you want to find from your contact list. If you want to share a room link with someone, search in group chats. Then tap the arrow button to share.
